How to Get There
Saladita is about a 45-minute drive from the Zihuatanejo International Airport. Check out my flights guide to find the best and cheapest flights to Saladita.

Where to Stay
Calma Saladita is the perfect Saladita accommodation for solo travelers and groups of up to 6 people. There is a private beach right out front, and the hosts are great people and amazing resources for local activities and food. Check out their website to book your stay, and email relax@calmasaladita.com with any questions you have!
Budget-Friendly Tips
The biggest supermarkets are in the airport town, so stocking up after your flight is the most budget-friendly grocery move. There is a bus service that runs from the town of Zihuatanejo to Saladita, which is cheaper than a taxi.
What to Pack
I have a few guides that have all the information you need on what to bring on your next trip to Mexico. Check each of them out to be fully prepared:

Where to Eat & Drink
Pacos – best for seafood
Illianet – best for classic Mexican food
Lourdes is right in front of La Saladita Point. There is live music on Thursdays.
Marea – best cocktails
Puesto food stand
Los Amigos – post-surf eats at the Ranch. The tortillas are to-die for.
Where to Surf
La Saladita Point – the famous in-town longboard wave.
The Ranch – a faster left, or a river mouth break for rights. Plenty of wave options here. Don’t forget to stop by Los Amigos on your way out, or in between sessions.
Playa Linda – a long and fast left, but breaks at a river mouth so beware.

Day Play & Nightlife
Hacienda is a new and hip coffee shop, restaurant, grocery store, and one-stop shop for day and night entertainment! The locally-owned Saladita Style sells their swag there as well which you won’t want to miss. Hacienda has live music, karaoke, and DJ nights, so stop on by and check out what’s happening on your trip.
If you aren’t into surfing, rent bikes, kayaks, or paddleboards in town and explore the sea or streets! If you’re staying at Calma the hosts will help you find rentals for every activity your heart desires, where to find the best cocktail, and which spots are playing live music on your trip.
If you’re heading off to Saladita soon, know that I’m jealous, but have a great adventure! DM me on Instagram or comment below with any additional questions you may have.
Peace & love.
